About ENGICOR

A UAE-based used-engine exporter and wholesaler (Sharjah Media City Free Zone) with access to a large-scale warehouse in Guangzhou, China, with an inventory of 2,000+ engines. Business to business only, sold by the full container, with a first order from 10 engines for new customers.

Wholesale onlyRegular orders are one full container — 90 engines in a 20-ft or 130 in a 40-ft, or with gearboxes 45 + 45 / 65 + 65. New customers can make their first purchase from 10 engines (10, 20, 30 or 40), with gearboxes and consolidated shipping, at list price, with no first-order surcharge (LCL freight quoted separately): first-order offer. A second order can start from 45 engines, also at list price. We do not sell single units.

More modelsBeyond the models on this page we hold many more — 488 engine and gearbox families in our warehouse list, always subject to inventory changes. Tell us how many units you need so we can give you the best price: full stock list.

Who you are dealing with

ENGICOR is operated by Silkvin & Engicor LLC under a Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams) license, registered at Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, Al Messaned, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. Contracts, invoicing and banking sit with the UAE entity — a jurisdiction where a commercial dispute has a clear route. Our trade licence and certificate of incorporation are available on request before any payment.

The company was founded and is run by Juan Alejandro Bettiz (Founder & CEO). You deal with a named person, not an anonymous sales desk: every quotation and every Proforma Invoice carries the same accountable counterparty.

Academic backing: Heriot-Watt University Dubai

Heriot-Watt University · Edinburgh Business School

Since September 2026, ENGICOR has been a fellow of the Edinburgh Business School Global Incubator at Heriot-Watt University Dubai — the university’s start-up fellowship programme on its Dubai Knowledge Park campus. We work from the incubator, with mentoring and business-development support from academics and industry practitioners. The founder is also completing an MSc in Digital Marketing at Heriot-Watt.

What the incubator does and does not do: it supports how we build the company — strategy, process and market access. It does not inspect, grade or guarantee engines; the Grade A standard, every quotation and every contract remain ENGICOR’s own responsibility.

What we do, precisely

We supply Grade A used engines by the container, working from a large-scale warehouse in Guangzhou with an inventory of 2,000+ engines. That inventory is what we prepare orders from and ship to international markets; availability per model is confirmed in each quotation. Engines are delivered clean and carefully presented, with a manual rotation check and individual photographs.

We sell to businesses only — importers, parts wholesalers, workshop networks and remanufacturers — and by the full container, in four configurations: 90 engines or 45 engines + 45 gearboxes in a 20-ft, 130 engines or 65 engines + 65 gearboxes in a 40-ft. A new customer’s first purchase can start from 10 engines (10, 20, 30 or 40), with gearboxes and consolidated shipping (LCL, in a shared container) available. First-order price: our published list price per unit — the same price full-container buyers pay, with no first-order surcharge; LCL sea freight from Guangzhou is quoted separately. We do not sell single units.

Why the warehouse is in China and the office is in Sharjah

Selection and checks have to happen where the engines are. China is where the volume of used engines exists, so that is where we work: at the Guangzhou warehouse, where a freight and logistics company also has its office and coordinates the container, the shipping and the export documents.

Commercial terms have to sit somewhere a buyer can hold us to them. Our office is in Sharjah, and quotation, Proforma Invoice and payment terms are handled from there. That split is deliberate: it is the arrangement we would want if we were the buyer.

How the Grade A standard works

One standard: Grade A. We do not offer B, C or core engines. Each engine is cleaned, handled and looked over, and its crankshaft is turned by hand with a tool to confirm that the mechanism rotates. It is then photographed from every side. The photographs for your order come as a simple file organised Engine 1, Engine 2, Engine 3…, each reference linked to its photos.

What the check covers: a manual crankshaft rotation check and an individual photo record. It is not a compression, leak-down, bench or running test, so on its own it does not prove how an engine will run once installed.

Used gearboxes, offered inside the mixed configurations and in a new customer’s first order, are sold untested and as-is (in their current condition). They are not graded and do not go through the engine check.

Compliance and the lanes we screen

Priority lanes: the GCC including the UAE, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana and Saudi Arabia. Established lanes: Tanzania, Uganda, Iraq, Pakistan and Egypt. Order-based and compliance-screened only: Russia, the CIS, Ukraine and Eastern Europe, where we run full know-your-customer and sanctions screening before quoting.

We do not serve Iran under any circumstance. Where a lane requires screening, we do it before quotation rather than after payment — it is slower to start and far less expensive than a container that cannot clear.

How we price

For seventeen engine models — the four Toyota focus models plus the Nissan QR25DE, Isuzu 4JB1 and the Hyundai-Kia G4 range — we publish wholesale per-unit prices, valid only inside a full-container order; you will find them on the engine pages and on the home page. Gearboxes for the mixed configurations carry their own published prices. Other models and makes are a commercial enquiry, priced in the quotation.

Prices are FOB. Freight for your destination is quoted separately, and route, Incoterm and freight are confirmed in each quotation, in writing, before payment. Send us your destination and the models you need and you will have a quotation within one business day — usually within hours. A quotation from the online tool is valid for 14 days.

Frequently asked

What company am I contracting with?

Silkvin & Engicor LLC, operating as ENGICOR under a Sharjah Media City Free Zone (Shams) license — Shams Business Center, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, Al Messaned, Sharjah, UAE. Contracts and invoicing are issued from the UAE.

Do you sell to individuals?

No. This is a business-to-business wholesale operation: full containers, or a first order of 10, 20, 30 or 40 engines for new business customers. Individual buyers are better served by local traders.

Can I visit the warehouse?

Yes — you are welcome to visit. Send us your list and you receive the Proforma Invoice within 1 working day. A visit deposit, credited in full to your order (USD 500 for a visit tied to a first order of 10–40 engines; USD 1,000 for container orders), starts the preparation of your complete lot and fixes your visit date within 24 hours; the numbered lot is ready in a dedicated inspection area within 10 working days. We pick you up from your hotel in Guangzhou, and you inspect and approve your order in one day. The inspection is visual, with the crankshaft turned by hand — no measuring equipment is on site.

Why is there a visit deposit?

The visit deposit is USD 500 for a visit tied to a first order of 10–40 engines and USD 1,000 for container orders. It starts the preparation of your complete lot — including units sourced through our Guangdong network — fixes your visit date within 24 hours and covers hotel pickup. It is credited in full toward the 30% deposit; it is not refunded if the order is not placed, because it covers the preparation, sourcing and logistics carried out for your visit.

Is the price different if I visit the warehouse?

No, for the lot our team prepares: published prices apply to Grade A engines selected, inspected and packed by our team, whether you buy remotely or visit. Unit-by-unit selection by the buyer on the warehouse floor is quoted separately and may differ from published prices.

What payment terms do you offer?

Two payments, each a percentage of the agreed order total, by bank transfer (T/T), always to ENGICOR's corporate account whose name matches the company. A 30% deposit starts order preparation and arranges the shipping booking; the remaining 70% is settled before shipment. The structure is the same whether you buy remotely or visit: when you visit, the 30% starts with the visit deposit (USD 500 for a visit tied to a first order of 10–40 engines; USD 1,000 for container orders), credited in full, and you complete the rest of the 30% within 2 working days of approving your lot. All terms are stated in writing in the Proforma Invoice. If we cannot prepare the agreed lot within 15 working days of your deposit, the 30% deposit is refunded in full. If a unit's photos show a problem and we cannot replace it with another unit of the same model, the part of the deposit for that unit is refunded.

How fast do you reply to an enquiry?

Within one business day. WhatsApp is answered Monday to Saturday, 9:00–19:00 UAE time (GST), usually within hours.

Which are ENGICOR's official profiles?

ENGICOR's official channels are engicor.com, LinkedIn (linkedin.com/company/engicor), YouTube (@engicor), Instagram (@engicor.engines) and Facebook (facebook.com/engicor.engines); quotations come only from sales@engicor.com or WhatsApp +971 58 560 8718.
