Used gearboxes
Used gearboxes are sold untested and as-is (in their current condition). In regular orders they go inside our two mixed configurations — 45 engines + 45 gearboxes in a 20-ft, 65 + 65 in a 40-ft — at their own published per-unit prices. A new customer's first order is the exception: gearboxes can join an order of 10, 20, 30 or 40 engines, in a separately listed quantity, at their list price, with no first-order surcharge.

The conditions, first
Used gearboxes are sold untested and as-is (in their current condition). They are not new and not reconditioned, and they are not Grade A: Grade A and the manual check describe our engines, and neither applies to a gearbox. No function test is carried out on them.
That is reflected in the price. Each gearbox has its own per-unit price, set for a used unit sold as it stands — never bundled free with an engine, and never priced as if it were one.
If your market needs gearboxes of a known condition, plan for that before you choose a mixed load — for example by having them inspected at your end.
What you should know before you order
Condition is not verified. What decides an automatic gearbox's life — clutch packs, valve body, solenoids, torque converter, shift quality — sits inside a sealed case and only shows under load. We do not assess it, and the price assumes it has not been assessed.
Drivetrain matters. Six gearboxes on this list are two-wheel drive only: QR25DE, 1ZZ-FE, 1AZ-FE, MR20DE and both HR16DE units. Check the vehicles your buyers run before you choose them.
Automatic and manual. Every unit listed is automatic except the Isuzu 4JB1, which is manual. The MR20DE gearbox is a CVT, and the HR16DE is offered two ways — a conventional automatic or a CVT, at different prices.
Availability is confirmed per quotation, model by model, in the written Proforma Invoice.
Two-wheel drive — read this before you order
Six units on this list are two-wheel drive only, and this is the single most expensive mistake available on this page: the QR25DE, 1ZZ-FE, 1AZ-FE and MR20DE gearboxes, and both HR16DE units (conventional automatic and CVT).
That matters because of where those engines actually sell. The QR25DE and MR20DE go into the X-Trail and Qashqai, where AWD versions are common, and a 2WD gearbox will not accept the transfer case those vehicles need. The same applies to the 1AZ-FE in the RAV4 and to the 1ZZ-FE in the 4WD Allion, Premio and Corolla Fielder.
If your buyer runs 4WD vehicles, this gearbox is the wrong part and no price makes it right. Tell us the drivetrain when you ask for a quotation.
Published prices, per unit
A published per-unit figure on a FOB basis, like our engine prices — but these are prices for used gearboxes sold untested and as-is (in their current condition), and they apply inside a mixed container (45 engines + 45 gearboxes, or 65 + 65). In a new customer’s first order gearboxes are priced at the same list price, with no first-order surcharge. Freight is quoted separately and availability is confirmed per quotation.

How gearboxes go into a container
In a regular order, only in a mixed container, and only in two configurations: exactly 45 engines + 45 gearboxes in a 20-ft, or exactly 65 engines + 65 gearboxes in a 40-ft. In a mixed container, 90 and 130 are the total units — never engines plus extra gearboxes.
The exception — a new customer's first order. If you have not bought from us before, your first purchase can be 10, 20, 30 or 40 engines, and gearboxes can form part of it. Engine and gearbox quantities are listed separately in your quotation, with no fixed ratio, and the order can travel as a consolidated shipment. First-order price: our published list price per unit, for engines and gearboxes alike — the same price full-container buyers pay, with no first-order surcharge; LCL sea freight from Guangzhou is quoted separately, and gearboxes are not included free. You choose which of the 17 engine models fill the engine places and which of the gearbox models above fill the gearbox places. The container quoter builds it for you: pick the container, choose Engines + gearboxes, fill both counters and the estimated FOB quotation reaches you by email.
There is no gearbox-only container and no other ratio in the standard offer. Other ratios, gearbox-only loads or other models are a commercial enquiry — write to sales@engicor.com or message us on WhatsApp, and sales will tell you what can be done.
These are our commercial configurations, not the physical limit of a container. Each load's weight, dimensions and distribution are checked when it is prepared.

Are ENGICOR gearboxes tested?
No. Used gearboxes are sold untested and as-is (in their current condition). No function test is carried out and their condition is not verified; they are priced as used units sold as they stand.
Do gearboxes carry the Grade A standard or the engine check?
No. Grade A and the manual crankshaft rotation check with individual photos apply to ENGICOR's engines only. Gearboxes are a separate category: used, not Grade A, not new and not reconditioned.
Do you list a 2TR-FE or 1GR-FE gearbox?
Not at a published price: the Toyota 2TR-FE and 1GR-FE (Hilux, Fortuner, Prado, FJ Cruiser) are supplied on request, engine and gearbox. Tell us the drivetrain your buyers run — Hilux, Fortuner and Prado are frequently four-wheel drive in the Gulf, Iraq and East Africa — and availability and price are confirmed in the quotation. The QR25DE, 1ZZ-FE, 1AZ-FE, MR20DE and HR16DE gearboxes on this list are 2WD only.
Can I buy gearboxes without engines?
No. In regular orders gearboxes are available inside a mixed container: 45 engines + 45 gearboxes in a 20-ft or 65 + 65 in a 40-ft. A new customer's first order can combine 10, 20, 30 or 40 engines with gearboxes. There is no gearbox-only container; other ratios or gearbox-only loads are a commercial enquiry for the sales team.
Can gearboxes be part of my first order?
Yes, if you are a new customer. Your first purchase can be 10, 20, 30 or 40 engines with gearboxes added in a separately listed quantity, and it can ship consolidated. Engines and gearboxes are at their published list price per unit, with no first-order surcharge; LCL sea freight from Guangzhou is quoted separately, and configuration, quantities and destination acceptance are confirmed in your quotation. The gearboxes are still sold untested and as-is. The offer applies to the first purchase only.
How many gearboxes go in a container?
Exactly 45 in a 20-ft mixed container and exactly 65 in a 40-ft mixed container, alongside the same number of engines. In a mixed container the 90 or 130 units are the total — 45 + 45 or 65 + 65 — never engines plus extra gearboxes.
How are gearboxes priced?
In mixed containers, per unit, at their own published prices on a FOB basis, from US$ 100 to US$ 410 depending on the model. In a new customer's first order they are at their list price per unit, like the engines, with no first-order surcharge. Freight is quoted separately, and every order is confirmed by a written Proforma Invoice from the sales team.
