The honest range
Published wholesale prices for Grade A engines run from USD 300 for the small Hyundai-Kia petrol models to USD 780 for the Toyota 1NZ-FE and 2NZ-FE, per unit at full-container volume.
Anything far below that range is telling you something about the engine, the grading, or the seller — usually all three.
What actually moves the price
Demand rank of the model (a 2TR-FE outsells the slower Hyundai-Kia models many times over in African lanes), engine size and family, and completeness.
What does not move it at ENGICOR: haggling. Prices are published per unit and identical for every buyer; the variable you control is the mix you load.
Why the cheapest quote is usually the most expensive container
An ungraded engine stops being cheap the day your counter customer returns it. Two or three bad units in a 90-unit load can erase the whole saving — and disputes over a grade nobody wrote down cost more than the engines.
What our price includes: a Grade A selection from a large-scale Guangzhou warehouse; each engine cleaned, handled and looked over, its crankshaft turned by hand with a tool to confirm that the mechanism rotates, and photographed from every side; and a photo file for your order. What the check covers: a manual crankshaft rotation check and an individual photo record. It is not a compression, leak-down, bench or running test, so on its own it does not prove how an engine will run once installed.

How much does a used engine cost wholesale?
From USD 300 to USD 780 per unit at full-container volume, depending on the engine model. Seventeen models carry published prices; other models and makes are a commercial enquiry, priced in the quotation.
Are used engine wholesale prices negotiable?
No. Prices are published, per unit, and identical for every buyer at container volume. Your total is set by the mix you choose — 90 or 130 engines, or 45 + 45 and 65 + 65 engines and gearboxes — not by haggling.
What does the wholesale price include?
The Grade A selection, cleaning, the manual crankshaft rotation check and the individual photographs from every side, organised in a photo file for your order. It does not include compression, leak-down, bench or running tests. You don't need to travel to buy, but you or your representative are welcome to visit for a Guangzhou Inspection Day and review your prepared lot in person, with a visit deposit credited to your order: USD 500 for a visit tied to a first order of 10–40 engines; USD 1,000 for container orders.
Is freight included in the unit price?
No — published prices are FOB. Freight depends on your destination lane and is quoted separately in writing, in each quotation.
