Used engine suppliers for importers

Short answer: wholesale used engine suppliers draw on four sources — exporters in Japan, consolidation warehouses in China, exporters in Korea, and traders in the UAE who re-export to Africa, Iraq and South Asia. ENGICOR is a UAE-licensed used engine supplier: Japanese-make and Korean-make engines (Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu, Hyundai-Kia) selected at the Guangzhou warehouse we work from, sold by the container at published prices.

Wholesale onlyRegular orders are one full container — 90 engines in a 20-ft or 130 in a 40-ft, or with gearboxes 45 + 45 / 65 + 65. New customers can make their first purchase from 10 engines (10, 20, 30 or 40), with gearboxes and consolidated shipping, at list price, with no first-order surcharge (LCL freight quoted separately): first-order offer. A second order can start from 45 engines, also at list price. We do not sell single units.

More modelsBeyond the models on this page we hold many more — 488 engine and gearbox families in our warehouse list, always subject to inventory changes. Tell us how many units you need so we can give you the best price: full stock list.

Four sources behind every used engine supplier

None of the four is better in general. What decides a good purchase is the supplier, not the country: whether you can verify the company, see the engines for your order, read the grade in writing and pay in stages. Our guide on used engine exporters breaks down the business models behind a UAE address.

Japanese-make engines are not the same as engines from Japan

Buyers often search for “Japanese used engines”. That can mean two different things: engines of a Japanese make (Toyota, Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi, Isuzu) or engines sourced in Japan. A Toyota 1NZ-FE is a Japanese-make engine wherever the car was driven; an engine sourced in Japan comes out of a Japanese-market vehicle.

Ask every supplier which one they mean, and which port the container sails from. For the record: ENGICOR supplies Japanese-make and Korean-make engines selected at the Guangzhou warehouse we work from, shipped from Guangzhou. We do not describe them as engines from Japan.

How to choose a used engine supplier

1. A company you can check. Legal name, licence and issuing authority, confirmed with the registry before you pay.

2. The engines for your order. Recent video or photos of the actual units, with codes readable, not a catalogue. The full method is in how to verify a used engine supplier.

3. A written grade. What was checked on each engine, and what was not.

4. A price per unit. FOB or CIF, with the container configuration stated, so offers can be compared. See used engine wholesale prices.

5. Staged payment in the company's name. A deposit to start, the balance after you have seen your units, into an account in the same name as the proforma invoice.

Frequently asked

Who are the main used engine suppliers for importers?

Wholesale used engines come from four sources: exporters in Japan, consolidation warehouses in China, exporters in Korea, and UAE traders who re-export to Africa, Iraq and South Asia. ENGICOR is a UAE-licensed supplier whose engines are selected at a Guangzhou warehouse and sold by the container at published prices.

Where do Japanese used engines come from?

The term covers two things: engines sourced from Japanese-market vehicles in Japan, and Japanese-make engines (Toyota, Nissan, Isuzu and others) sourced elsewhere. Ask each supplier which one it means and which port the container sails from.

Are ENGICOR's engines from Japan?

No. ENGICOR supplies Japanese-make and Korean-make engines selected at the Guangzhou warehouse we work from and shipped from Guangzhou. Every unit is photographed before you pay the balance.

What is the minimum order from a used engine supplier?

Most wholesale suppliers sell by the container: about 90 engines in a 20-ft or 130 in a 40-ft. At ENGICOR a new customer's first order can start from 10 engines at list price.

How do I find a reliable used engine supplier?

Verify the company licence, ask for video of the engines for your order, get the grade and the per-unit price in writing, and pay in stages into an account in the company's own name. Avoid full prepayment to a seller you cannot verify.
