A market that rewards consistency
Ghanaian buyers tend to build long relationships with suppliers who ship what they promised. Volumes per container are often smaller than the Nigerian equivalent, but the reorder rate is high and disputes are rare when the grading is honest.
The parc mirrors the wider West African pattern — Toyota-dominant with a fast-growing Korean share — so the same families that move in Lagos move here.
Container sizing for a first order
A 20-ft container of 25 to 35 engines is the usual entry point, and for many Ghanaian counters it stays the right size. There is no advantage in a 40-ft load if it takes you six months to sell through it; freight per unit is lower, but the cash sits still.
We would rather quote you the container you can turn than the one that looks better on paper.
Documentation for the lane
